President's Message
Hello St. Louis Dental Hygienists'!
Thank you to everyone who came to MDHA's Annual Session at Tan-tar-A. The turn out was very high. We appreciate that you choose to support MDHA by coming to this event.
I hope everyone has had a great summer. Fall is here! GSLDHA wants to invite and remind you of upcoming events.
* The next board meeting is November 1. All are welcome. This is a great way to see how your Association is working for you.
* Nov 8, 2007. Dan Buck, CEO, of St. Patricks center will be speaking on the Dental Clinic there. Also this will be the installation of the 2008 officers.
* Nov 10, 2007. Speaker Kathi Schreiber will be teaching a CE course on "Perio and Beyond..." The location for this CE is in Festus. We are hoping to make it more convenient for our south members because they have supported us at the Creve Cour location for years.
The board had our annual budget meeting this past week. The results are grim. Our annual income has decreased considerably over the past ten years, but we still have the same responsibilties to you, our members. I am sincerely asking you to support your association in every way you can. We hope to make a little income from our Saturday CE courses, while also providing you with quality information and interesting topics. I encourage you to put you money towards our CE courses. We understand that CE is everywhere, but supporting GSLDHA CE courses gives you twice the benefits. I also encourage you to bring your non-member hygienist friends. Have them see what we're all about.
